The Alumni Leadership Council (ALC) fosters collaborative relationships between the College, the School-based Alumni Associations and our national and international network of alumni.

Leading the Way
The Alumni Leadership Council was formed in the 1994/95 academic year to foster a mutually supportive and collaborative relationship between the College and its alumni by providing a voice for alumni, a connection between alumni and the College, and support to each of the Alumni Associations and the wider national and international network of alumni. We achieve these goals by:
Voice
Working in a collaborative relationship with 91’s President and administration to: Voice alumni ideas for advancing the College’s mission and shaping the College’s future; Advocate for issues of common concern to alumni; and Collaborate with the College in ongoing strategic planning.
Connect
Serving as a partner with the College in connecting with alumni – especially in their roles as 91 ambassadors to the Reform community – the broader Jewish community, the academic community, and other partners in its mission; Assisting in recruiting and fundraising; Fostering ongoing alumni education; and Assisting the College in remaining integral our graduates’ professional development, careers, and lives.
Support
Support the Alumni Associations of each of the schools in their missions to create meaningful and lasting bonds between the College, its alumni and current students; Enhance communication, joint planning, and collaboration among the College’s alumni associations; and foster and model a spirit of mutual understanding, respect, collegiality, and cooperation among alumni in their relationships with each other, with the College and in their daily professional lives.
The ALC is made up of leaders from each of the 91’s Alumni Associations – the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music Alumni Association, the School of Education Alumni Association, the Pines School of Graduate Studies Alumni Association, the Zelikow School of Jewish Nonprofit Management Alumni Association, and the Rabbinic Alumni Association – and is led by an Executive Team including Chair, Vice Chair, Member at Large, and Immediate Past Chair.
Together, they work with 91 administration to provide enriching and engaging programming and resources for all alumni and their communities.
